LocalSEOAgent, Inc. ("LocalSEOAgent", "we", "us") makes Leo, an AI local SEO employee for businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers our website at localseoagent.ai, the interview, the dashboard, and every channel you use to talk to Leo.

Who we are
LocalSEOAgent, Inc. is a Delaware corporation. Registered office: 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, United States. For the purposes of data protection law, we are the controller of the information described in this policy, except where we process information on behalf of a client business (see "When we act for your business" below).
What we collect
When you visit our website. Pages you view, the site that sent you, your browser and device type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and how you interact with the page. We collect this with Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, which use cookies and similar technologies.
When you interview Leo. Your email address, your business name, address or service area, website, the services you sell, and anything else you tell Leo during the interview. Leo also looks up public information about your business and your competitors, such as your public Google Business Profile, reviews and directory listings. If you tick the box asking for follow-up emails, we record that consent.
When you hire Leo. Account details for you and anyone you add (such as a location manager): name, email, phone number, role, and time zone. Billing is handled by Stripe; we receive confirmation of payment, the last four digits of your card and your billing address, never your full card number.
When you connect your accounts. With your permission, we access the accounts Leo needs to do the work:
- your Google Business Profile (to read your profile, reviews and performance data, and to publish posts, photos, review replies and profile edits you have approved);
- a Google Drive folder that Leo creates in your account, with your permission, for the photos you want uploaded;
- social channels you choose to connect, so approved posts can be shared there;
- customer lists you upload or connect from tools such as Jobber, Square or a webhook, so Leo can send review requests.
When you talk to Leo. The messages you exchange with Leo on our site, in the dashboard, by email, or in a chat app you connect (such as Telegram), and the approvals you give.
Information about your customers. If you use review requests, you give us your customers' names and contact details. You are responsible for having the right to share them and for any consent the law requires before they are contacted. We use them only to send the review requests you approved and their follow-up, and we honour every opt-out.
How we use it
- To run the interview, the audit and the work you approve.
- To send you your daily brief, reports, approval requests and account messages.
- To bill you and keep records the law requires.
- To keep the service secure and to prevent abuse, fraud and spam.
- To understand how our website and product are used, and to improve them.
- To send follow-up emails about your audit, only if you asked for them. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Google user data
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:
- we use Google user data only to provide and improve the features you see and use in LocalSEOAgent;
- we do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it;
- we do not use it to train general-purpose AI models;
- people at LocalSEOAgent read it only with your permission, for security reasons, to comply with the law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymised.
You can disconnect LocalSEOAgent from your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
AI
Leo uses large language models to draft posts, review replies, plans and messages. We send the models only what a task needs. We do not use your business's information to train our own models, and we use model providers under terms that do not allow them to train on the data we send.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run LocalSEOAgent, under contracts that limit what they can do with it:

Some listings that cannot be built automatically are created by our own staff and contractors, who see only the business details needed for that listing.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public, or as part of a merger or sale of our business, in which case this policy will continue to apply.
Where it is stored
We are based in the United States and most of our providers process data there. If you are outside the United States, your information will be transferred there. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep account information while your account is open. After you close your account, we delete or anonymise your business data within 90 days, except billing records and anything else we must keep by law. Interview information from people who don't hire Leo is deleted within 12 months. You can export your data from the dashboard at any time.
Your choices and rights
- Access, correction, export and deletion. You can see and export your data from the dashboard, or ask us at hello@localseoagent.ai.
- Marketing emails. Unsubscribe from any email, or tell Leo.
- Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without analytics cookies.
- Disconnecting accounts. You can disconnect Google or any other connected account at any time.
Depending on where you live (for example the UK, the European Union, Canada, Australia, India or California), you may have further rights, including to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We will respond to any request within the time the law requires and will not treat you differently for using your rights.
When we act for your business
When you give us information about your customers, or when Leo handles your reviews, we process that information on your behalf and according to your instructions. Your customers can contact you, or us, to use their rights.
Security
We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls and logging. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
Children
LocalSEOAgent is a service for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. If a change is significant, we will tell account holders by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect.
